The purpose of the range safety rules is obvious, we MUST be certain that we have done all that is possible to ensure the safety of our members, guests, employees, and our property. If, on any lane during "HOT RANGE" conditions a shooter or range safety officer shouts "CEASEFIRE", all shooters must immediately stop shooting, empty their firearms and make them safe. The CEASEFIRE command may be used to designate the end of a scheduled shooting time during an event, or also to notify all range occupants that some range safety issue or emergency requires shooting to immediately be stopped.
